Human Interferon Alpha 21 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA (sELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Interferon Alpha 21 (IFNA21) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for IFNA21, employing a biotinylated anti-IFNA21 detection antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has an assay range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <6.2 pg/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been validated in serum (range 83–100%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 90–98%, average 94%, n=5), and heparin plasma (range 90–99%, average 94%, n=5), with linearity demonstrated across sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16.
