Human Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human ICAM4 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) bearing an antibody specific for ICAM4. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and ICAM4 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. Following incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-ICAM4 detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate solution is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration of ICAM4 is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

Sensitivity is <0.35 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml and an assay time of 4h 30m.
