Human Inter Alpha-Globulin Inhibitor H3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Inter Alpha-Globulin Inhibitor H3 (ITIH3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and is run on a colourmetric microplate reader using a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips).

Standards and samples are captured by an immobilized anti-ITIH3 antibody and detected using a biotinylated anti-ITIH3 antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm and the concentration read off the standard curve. The standard curve covers a product range of 0.781–50 ng/ml and the assay sensitivity is <0.27 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported average recoveries (n=5) are 91% in serum (range 80%–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%–89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 falls within 74%–107% for serum, 79%–108% for EDTA plasma and 82%–105% for heparin plasma (n=5). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
