Human Integrin Alpha 6 ELISA Kit

This sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Integrin alpha 6 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The kit is reactive with human samples and uses a pre-coated microplate format (12 x 8 well strips).

An antibody specific for Integrin alpha 6 is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-Integrin alpha 6 antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a yellow product whose intensity, read at 450nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, is proportional to the amount of Integrin alpha 6 captured in each well. Reported sensitivity is <0.061 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
