Human Integrin Alpha 5 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables in vitro quantitative measurement of human Integrin alpha 5 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate, a biotinylated anti-Integrin alpha 5 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the colour reaction is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with the blue product turning yellow on addition of the stop solution.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml and the sensitivity is 0.054 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Reported mean recovery is 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit is for research use only.
