Human Integrin Alpha 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Integrin alpha 2 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format with colourmetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and employs a biotinylated anti-Integrin alpha 2 detection antibody together with HRP-avidin and a TMB substrate that produces a yellow product upon addition of stop solution.

The assay covers a standard range of 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported percentage values across samples (n=5) averaged 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
