Human Insulin Like Protein 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA developed by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative measurement of human Insulin Like Protein 3 (INSL3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with capture of INSL3 by an immobilised antibody, detection via a biotinylated anti-INSL3 antibody and HRP-avidin, and visualisation using TMB substrate. The reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the absorbance of the yellow product proportional to the INSL3 concentration in each well.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.065 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Storage of kit components is at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Reported average spike-and-recovery values are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across these three sample matrices, with reported recovery ranges spanning 74–108%.
