Human Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 6 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 6 (IGFBP6). It is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) together with a biotinylated anti-IGFBP6 detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate; TMB substrate is converted to a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The standard assay range is 7.81–500 ng/ml and the reported sensitivity is <1.98 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported sample recoveries are 80%–102% (average 91%) in serum (n=5), 81%–101% (average 91%) in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80%–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma (n=5). Kit components comprise the pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), detection solutions A and B (120 µl each), 30X wash buffer (20 ml), sample dilution buffer (45 ml), TMB substrate (9 ml), stop solution (6 ml) and adhesive plate sealers (5 strips), to be stored between +4 °C and −20 °C as indicated.
