Human Insulin Like Growth Factor 2 ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative measurement of human Insulin Like Growth Factor 2 (IGF2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microtiter plate, with standards and samples added so that captured IGF2 is bound by an immobilised antibody. A biotinylated anti-IGF2 antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate are then added, and TMB substrate produces a colour change read as absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance includes an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.128 ng/ml, with a complete assay workflow of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery testing in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma gave average recoveries of 91%, 90% and 84% respectively (n=5). Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
