Human Insulin ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Insulin, this ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a sandwich enzyme immunoassay format on a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with results read by colorimetric detection at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

The assay has a sensitivity of <30.2 pg/ml and a product range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Capture is performed using an antibody specific for Insulin, with a biotinylated anti-Insulin detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, visualised with TMB substrate. Reported recovery ranges are Serum 80%-102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA Plasma 81%-100% (average 90%, n=5) and Heparin Plasma 80%-89% (average 84%, n=5), with dilution linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
