Human Inhibin Beta E ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, the kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Inhibin beta E Chain in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve spans 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 6.4 pg/ml. Detection relies on a biotinylated anti-Inhibin beta E Chain antibody followed by an HRP–avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow after addition of an acidic stop solution; the intensity of the yellow colour is proportional to target concentration. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C.

Spike-and-recovery data show average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 83–99%, n=5), 89% in EDTA plasma (80–99%) and 90% in heparin plasma (82–99%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 typically yields recoveries within the 74–110% range across the same matrices. The product is intended for research use only.
