Human Inhibin Beta A ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com Human Inhibin Beta A ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Inhibin beta A in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, onto which an antibody specific for Inhibin beta A has been immobilised. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-Inhibin beta A detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that turns yellow on addition of stop solution. The absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the Inhibin beta A concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

The reported product range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 6.5 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. In spike-and-recovery testing, mean recovery was 91% in serum (range 83–99%, n=5), 89% in EDTA plasma (80–99%) and 90% in heparin plasma (82–99%). Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in all three sample matrices. The kit is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
