Human IL4R ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human IL-4R in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids, with reactivity specific to human samples. The kit shows no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, and operates over a product range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of <9.375 pg/mL. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance measured at 450 nm using a microplate reader, and the assay is completed in approximately four hours.

The pre-coated plate employs a capture antibody specific for IL-4R; standards and samples are added, unbound material is washed away, and a biotinylated detection antibody is applied to form an antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich complex. HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate are then added, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with colour intensity directly proportional to the IL-4R concentration in each well. Mean recovery is 95% in serum, 96% in EDTA plasma, and 92% in heparin plasma, with corresponding ranges of 92–99%, 92–99%, and 85–99% respectively. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is supported for each sample type.

Kits are shipped at +4°C and components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C according to the protocol manual, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles and use past the expiration date.
