Human IL2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of IL-2 in human samples. The kit is suitable for serum, plasma, and lysates, and applies a quantitative sandwich immunoassay format. The microplate is pre-coated with a monoclonal antibody specific for IL-2. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate wells and incubated; if present, IL-2 binds and is immobilised by the capture antibody. A peroxidase-conjugated detection antibody is added, followed by TMB (3,3',5,5'-Tetramethylbenzidine) substrate, yielding a blue colour. The reaction is terminated by addition of 2 N Sulfuric Acid stop solution, producing a yellow solution whose absorbance is read on a spectrophotometer for standard curve generation and protein concentration determination. Detection is colorimetric.

Reported sensitivity is < 1 pg/ml, with an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. The assay shows no reported cross-reactivity. Reagents should be stored at +4 °C and are stated to be stable for 3-6 months.
