Human IL-2 ELISpot Kit

This ELISpot assay enables detection and enumeration of individual IL-2-secreting cells at single-cell resolution, providing a quantitative functional readout of T cell activation. The kit uses pre-coated PVDF plates with anti-IL-2 capture antibodies to bind cytokine released by antigen-stimulated peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC). A biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-enzyme conjugate are added sequentially, and cytokine-producing cells appear as discrete blue spots after substrate development.

With a sensitivity of approximately 2 pg/mL, the assay reliably identifies low-frequency IL-2-producing populations relevant to vaccine development, infectious disease research, tumor immunology, and immune monitoring workflows. Each Assay Genie kit includes pre-coated plate(s), detection antibody, conjugate, substrate solution, wash buffer, and recombinant IL-2 standard for spot quantification. Reagents should be stored refrigerated and protected from light to maintain activity. Compatible with automated ELISpot readers for reproducible counting across multiple experimental conditions.
