Human IL-1ra ELISA Kit

The quantitative sandwich ELISA format uses a monoclonal antibody specific for human IL-1ra immobilized onto microwells, followed by a biotin-linked detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP. A colorimetric signal develops in proportion to the amount of IL-1ra bound, is stopped by addition of acid, and read on a microplate reader. The assay range is 39.06 - 2500 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 7.71 pg/ml, and an average recovery of 101% from serum samples. The kit should be stored at +4°C and not used past its expiration date.
