Human IFN-γ ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human IFN-γ in cell culture supernatant, serum, and plasma. It uses a quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technique in which a monoclonal antibody specific for human IFN-γ is immobilized onto microwells. Standards or samples are pipetted into the wells, followed by the addition of a biotin-linked monoclonal antibody specific for IFN-γ. After removal of unbound substances, streptavidin-HRP is added; following incubation with substrate solution and addition of acid stop solution, the optical density is measured by microplate reader.

The kit demonstrates no significant cross-reactivity and can assay both native and recombinant human IFN-γ. Sensitivity is <0.30 pg/ml with an assay range of 7.81 - 500 pg/ml, and average recovery from serum samples is 92%. Detection is colorimetric on a microplate platform.

The kit should be stored at +4°C and not used past its expiration date.
