Human ICAM 5 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA designed for the in vitro quantitative measurement of human ICAM5 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. Distributed under the Antibodies.com brand, the kit uses pre-coated microplate wells and a biotinylated anti-ICAM5 antibody followed by HRP-avidin detection, with a TMB substrate read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.068 ng/ml, and the protocol is completed in approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiking recovery has been characterised in serum (80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%). Linearity of dilution has also been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same three sample matrices.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated on each component label, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
