Human Hypoxanthine Phosphoribosyltransferase 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Hypoxanthine Phosphoribosyltransferase 1 (HPRT) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate together with a biotinylated anti-HPRT detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colourimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance figures include a standard curve range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.057 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Average recovery values are 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma across n=5 samples, with overall recovery ranges of 80%–102% for serum, 81%–100% for EDTA plasma and 80%–89% for heparin plasma. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions spans 87%–107% for serum, 84%–108% for EDTA plasma and 82%–105% for heparin plasma.
