Human Hyaluronan Binding Protein 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human GC1q R in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate: standards and test samples are added to the wells where the target is captured by an immobilised antibody, then detected with a biotinylated anti-GC1q R antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with target concentration calculated against a standard curve.

The assay is configured as a quantitative sandwich ELISA for human samples with a total run time of 4 h 30 min. Reported sensitivity is <0.072 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml. In spike-and-recovery testing across n=5 samples each, average recoveries were 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 was also evaluated for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 each). Kit components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
