Human Histone Deacetylase 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Histone Deacetylase 2 (HDAC2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate, a biotinylated anti-HDAC2 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed using TMB substrate and quantified by absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.065 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions returned ranges of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.

Kit components include the pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
