Human Histidine Rich Calcium Binding Protein ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Histidine Rich Calcium Binding Protein (HRC) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for HRC, with detection carried out colorimetrically by reading absorbance at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the kit reports a sensitivity of 0.123 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recoveries in spiked samples were 91% for serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity is also reported across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 strips of 8 wells, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at either +4°C or -20°C depending on the component.
