Human Hexokinase 1 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies a sandwich ELISA for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Hexokinase 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Hexokinase 1. Standards and samples are added to the wells, after which captured Hexokinase 1 is detected using a biotinylated anti-Hexokinase 1 antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a yellow colour whose absorbance is read at 450 nm and compared to a standard curve.

The standard curve covers 62.5–4000 pg/ml and the reported sensitivity is 27.2 pg/ml. The complete assay runs in 4 hours 30 minutes on a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Mean recovery values across sample matrices are 91% for serum (n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5). Detection is colorimetric and is read on a standard microplate reader.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the protocol, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
