Human Heterogeneous Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein K ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Heterogeneous Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein K (hnRNP K) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for hnRNP K, together with a biotinylated anti-hnRNP K detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. After addition of an acidic stop solution the colour intensity is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the hnRNP K concentration is calculated from the standard curve.

The reported assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.107 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been characterised in serum (range 80-102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80-89%, average 84%, n=5).
