Human HEPH ELISA Kit

Absorbance is read at 450 nm and compared to the standard curve, with colour intensity directly proportional to Hephaestin concentration [S1]. Sensitivity is <46.875 pg/mL [S1]. The kit is reported as specific for Hephaestin with no cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants [S1]. Validated sample dilutions include healthy serum and plasma at 1:2 and SW948 cell lysate used undiluted [S1]. Reported recovery ranges are 87–104% in serum (average 94%), 86–98% in EDTA plasma (average 91%), and 85–99% in heparin plasma (average 90%) [S1].

The kit is shipped at +4°C with components stored as instructed in the protocol manual, and freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided [S1].
