Human Hepatoma Derived Growth Factor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Hepatoma Derived Growth Factor (HDGF) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips) onto which an antibody specific for HDGF has been immobilised. Standards and test samples are pipetted into the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-HDGF Antibody and then an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added; catalysis produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colourimetric microplate reader against the standard curve.

Reported analytical sensitivity is <0.112 ng/ml with a quantitative working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed. The product must not be used past its expiration date.

Reported recovery values show averages of 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (80–89%) at n=5 per matrix. Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 spans 74–108% across the three matrices.
