Human Hepatocyte Growth Factor Activator ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Hepatocyte Growth Factor Activator (HGFA) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) together with a biotinylated anti-HGFA antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. After incubation and washing, a TMB substrate solution is added; the resulting yellow product is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric plate reader, with absorbance proportional to the HGFA captured and quantified against the standard curve.

The quantitative assay covers 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 6.4 pg/ml and a total run time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery is an average of 91% (range 80–102%) in serum, 90% (81–100%) in EDTA plasma and 84% (80–89%) in heparin plasma, with linearity demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions in each matrix.
