Human Heparin Cofactor II ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com Human Heparin Cofactor II (HC-II) ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human HC-II in plasma. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-HC-II antibody and HRP-avidin detection system visualised by TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the HC-II concentration is calculated against a standard curve. Reported sensitivity is <0.067 ng/ml, the standard curve range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min.

The kit is validated for plasma samples. Reported average recovery values are 91% (range 80–102%, n=5) for serum, 90% (range 81–100%, n=5) for EDTA plasma, and 84% (range 80–89%, n=5) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16. Components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
