Human Heparin Binding Epidermal Growth Factor Like Growth Factor ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human HBEGF/DTR (Heparin-Binding EGF-Like Growth Factor) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and the sandwich immunoassay technique with a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The stated sensitivity is 6.3 pg/ml and the measurable range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.

Reported spike-and-recovery values average 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 is broadly consistent in serum (74–107%), EDTA plasma (79–108%) and heparin plasma (82–105%).
