Human Heparan Sulfate Proteoglycan ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Human Syndecan 2/HSPG (Heparan Sulfate Proteoglycan) sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Syndecan 2/HSPG in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate platform arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. [C0][S1]

An antibody specific for Syndecan 2/HSPG is immobilised on the plate to capture the target from standards and samples, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-Syndecan 2/HSPG detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to visualise the reaction as a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of an acidic stop solution; the intensity of yellow is proportional to the amount of Syndecan 2/HSPG captured in each well. The kit has a sensitivity of 0.122 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reactivity is human. [C0][S1]
