Human Hemoglobin Gamma 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Hemoglobin Gamma 2 (Fetal Hemoglobin) in serum, plasma, erythrocyte lysates or other biological fluids. The procedure uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-Fetal Hemoglobin detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with the signal read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <95.7 ng/ml with a quantitative range of 313–20000 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Spiked recovery has been reported at 85–100% in serum (average 92%, n=5), 85–103% in EDTA plasma (average 94%, n=5) and 87–99% in heparin plasma (average 93%, n=5). Dilution linearity has been characterised at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each).
