Human Hemogen ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Hemogen in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate, with Hemogen captured by an immobilized antibody and detected using a biotinylated anti-Hemogen antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 0.052 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. In spiked-sample testing, average recoveries were 91% for serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity has been reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 sample dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. The total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, with incubations carried out at 37°C.
