Human Hedgehog Interacting Protein ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Hedgehog Interacting Protein (HHIP) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is run on a colourimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit is for research use with human samples and follows a sandwich enzyme immunoassay format in which HHIP is captured by an immobilised antibody, detected with a biotinylated anti-HHIP antibody and HRP-avidin, and visualised with TMB substrate.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of <0.107 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Recovery in spiked samples was reported as: serum 80–102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%, n=5), and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%, n=5). Linearity of dilution was tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Contents include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 µl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), Wash Buffer 30X (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers (5 adhesive strips), with components stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated.
