Human Hedgehog Homolog, Indian ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Indian Hedgehog (Ihh) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. A biotinylated anti-Ihh detection antibody is used together with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to the amount of Ihh captured in each well.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.057 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery has been evaluated in serum (range 80-102%, average 91%; n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, average 90%; n=5), and heparin plasma (range 80-89%, average 84%; n=5). Dilutional linearity has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.

Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
