Human Heat Shock Protein Beta 8 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Human HSP22/HSPB8 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of human HSP22/HSPB8 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for HSP22/HSPB8 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-HSP22/HSPB8 antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection uses a TMB substrate read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with yellow colour intensity proportional to target concentration.

Key performance specifications include a sensitivity of <0.056 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. The total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation across serum (n=5, average recovery 91%, range 83–99%), EDTA plasma (n=5, average recovery 89%, range 80–99%), and heparin plasma (n=5, average recovery 90%, range 82–99%) demonstrates robust quantification across common biological matrices. Dilution linearity has been confirmed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions, with recoveries generally between 74% and 110%.

The kit includes a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed on the label, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
