Human Heat Shock Protein Beta 6 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Heat Shock Protein Beta 6 (HSP20) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate, using an antibody specific for HSP20. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-HSP20 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with detection via TMB substrate solution read at 450 nm.

Quantitative performance is characterised by an assay range of 0.781-50 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.32 ng/ml. The colourmetric assay is read on a microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recoveries in matrix testing were 91% (serum), 89% (EDTA plasma) and 90% (heparin plasma), with individual recoveries ranging from 80% to 99% across n=5 samples per matrix. Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions spanned 74% to 110% for the same sample types.
