Human Heat Shock Protein 40 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Heat Shock Protein 40 (HSP40). The assay is intended for use with tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.

Capture antibody specific for HSP40 is pre-coated on a microplate, and a biotinylated anti-HSP40 detection antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate are used to generate a colourimetric signal via TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration of HSP40 is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The reported assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.043 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation data for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples includes recovery ranges of 83-100% (average 91%), 91-98% (average 94%) and 90-99% (average 94%) respectively (n=5), with dilution linearity reported across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions.
