Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Heat Shock 70kDa Protein 12B (HSPA12B). The kit is suitable for use with tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids, and is reactive with human samples. Quantitative measurement is achieved through a sandwich enzyme immunoassay format run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a sensitivity of <0.128 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. The complete protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes and uses a biotinylated anti-HSPA12B detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the reaction produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, with yellow intensity proportional to the amount of HSPA12B captured in each well. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.
