From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human DNAJC4, also referred to as Heat Shock 40kDa Protein 2, in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and colorimetric detection read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The standard curve spans 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.27 ng/ml, and the full protocol is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery in serum (n=5) ranges from 80% to 102% with an average of 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5) recovery is 81%–100% averaging 90%, and heparin plasma (n=5) recovery is 80%–89% averaging 84%.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standards, Detection Solution A and B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, with storage temperatures of either +4°C or -20°C depending on the component.
