Human Heat Shock 27kDa Protein 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Heat Shock 27kDa Protein 1 (HSP27) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated anti-HSP27 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.

Quantitative performance figures include a product range of 0.781–50 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.32 ng/ml. Reported average recoveries in spiked samples are 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Linearity upon dilution at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported as 87–107% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices (n=5 per matrix).
