An antibody specific for EPF is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and captured EPF is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-EPF Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported assay range is 1.56–100 ng/ml and the sensitivity is <0.62 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.
