Human Growth Regulated Oncogene Gamma ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative measurement of human Growth Regulated Oncogene Gamma (GRO gamma). The assay is reactive with human samples and is intended for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. Detection is colourmetric, read at 450 nm on a microplate reader, on a pre-coated microplate supplied as 12 x 8 well strips. The stated product range is 7.81–500 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 2.7 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

The procedure uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: standards and samples are added to wells pre-coated with an antibody specific for GRO gamma, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-GRO gamma Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. An acidic stop solution produces a yellow product whose absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to the amount of GRO gamma captured and is quantified against the standard curve.

Reported sample recovery (average, n=5) is 91% for Serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA Plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for Heparin Plasma (range 80–89%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (n=5) is given as 74–107% for Serum, 79–108% for EDTA Plasma and 82–105% for Heparin Plasma. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 µL), Detection Solution B (120 µL), 30X Wash Buffer (20 mL), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 mL), TMB Substrate (9 mL), Stop Solution (6 mL) and 5 adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
