Human Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids, with reactivity for human samples.

The assay uses the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate. GHRH present in samples or standards competes with a fixed amount of immobilized GHRH antigen for binding sites on a Biotinylated Anti-GHRH Antibody. An HRP-Avidin conjugate is added, and a TMB substrate solution is used to visualize the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 2 hours 30 minutes.

The product range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.15 pg/ml. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit is suitable for serum and plasma samples.
