Human Growth Hormone Receptor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Growth Hormone Receptor. The assay is suitable for tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids, and is reactive with human samples.

The 96-well microtiter plate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for Growth Hormone Receptor. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where the analyte binds to the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-Growth Hormone Receptor detection antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The assay has a working range of 1.56-100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.62 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Validated recovery ranges are 80%-102% for serum (average 91%), 81%-100% for EDTA plasma (average 90%) and 80%-89% for heparin plasma (average 84%). Dilution linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. The kit includes a pre-coated 96-well plate, lyophilised standard, detection reagents, wash and dilution buffers, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers; components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
