Human Growth Arrest Specific Protein 6 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Growth Arrest Specific Protein 6 (GAS 6) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, together with a biotinylated anti-GAS 6 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 6.25-400 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <2.45 pg/ml, and the protocol has an assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery has been demonstrated in serum (n=5, 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, 80%-89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across serum (87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%) and heparin plasma (84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%) samples.

Kit components include the pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), detection solution A, detection solution B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
