Human Gremlin 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Gremlin 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, urine or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-Gremlin 1 detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, and the intensity of the yellow product is directly proportional to the amount of Gremlin 1 captured in each well.

The kit has a stated product range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.064 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are supplied for storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the assay should not be used past the kit expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery validation (n=5) gave ranges of 80-102% (average 91%) in serum, 81-100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma and 80-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions, with serum recoveries of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% respectively across the four dilutions.
