Human Granzyme A ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Granzyme A in cell culture supernatant, serum, and plasma. The assay is based on the quantitative sandwich ELISA technique: a monoclonal antibody specific for human Granzyme A is immobilized onto microwells, and standards or samples are pipetted into the wells, followed by the addition of a biotin-linked monoclonal detection antibody specific for Granzyme A. After removal of any unbound substances, streptavidin-HRP is added for a second incubation. Following a wash step, the substrate solution reacts with HRP and colour develops in proportion to the amount of Granzyme A bound. The colour development is stopped by addition of acid and the optical density is measured using a microplate reader.

The assay has demonstrated no significant cross-reactivity and can detect both native and recombinant human Granzyme A. It has an assay range of 15.63 - 1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 0.31 pg/ml, and an average recovery of 112% from serum samples. The kit should be stored at +4°C and not used past the expiration date.
