Human Granulin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative measurement of human Granulin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated anti-Granulin antibody and HRP-avidin detection, visualised by TMB substrate and read at 450 nm. Sensitivity is 0.62 ng/ml, the working range is 1.56–100 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min.

Spike-and-recovery was 80–102% (average 91%, n=5) in serum, 81–100% (average 90%, n=5) in EDTA plasma, and 80–89% (average 84%, n=5) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity was tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum giving 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% respectively; EDTA plasma 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108%; and heparin plasma 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% (all n=5).

Supplied items are the pre-coated plate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solutions A and B (120 µl each), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers (5 adhesive strips), stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as indicated.
