Human Golgin A8 Family, Member A ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Golgin A8 Family in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The plate is pre-coated with a target-specific antibody; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the concentration of Golgin A8 Family calculated against a standard curve.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.119 ng/ml and a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. In spike-and-recovery testing (n=5), average recovery was 93% in serum (range 84–102%), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 91–101%) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 92–98%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was demonstrated: serum recoveries were 90–103%, 77–108%, 86–93% and 91–106%; EDTA plasma 80–104%, 89–93%, 86–110% and 76–103%; heparin plasma 90–96%, 85–108%, 88–100% and 90–103% (all n=5).

Kit components comprise a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
