Human Golgi Protein 73 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit manufactured by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human GOLPH2 (Golgi Protein 73) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for the target is pre-coated onto a microplate, standards and samples are added, and the captured analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-GOLPH2 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and concentration is calculated from a standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported sensitivity is <6.5 pg/ml with an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Validation across a sample range (n=5) gave average recovery of 91% in serum, 95% in EDTA plasma and 96% in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (n=5) was reported within 77-110% for serum, 72-109% for EDTA plasma and 82-110% for heparin plasma. Provided components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at -20°C or +4°C as instructed; the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
